If you followed me before as @lily-da-vine you know that I shared just about every detail of my life for almost 3 years, in real time as it happened. I still capture as much as I used to but am caught putting my security over my need to share. Lucky me I have a backlog of things to share in random order mainly. For the record, if I share something in Acapulco or Mexico City, you can bet your ass I've moved on from there at least temporarily.
These photos are from a trip to the botanical garden in Acapulco I took with my best friend a few weeks after the murder when I was still in hiding.
Most of my time in the months after the murder I was in hiding. I'd come out into public for things I need or occasionally for trips like this which were both fun and filled with anxiety.
No where near as many photos were taken as I didn't have my camera, only a 13 megapixel phone camera to capture my memories during that time. I didn't realize how much of a photographer I was until I had no camera.
And of course I couldn't help but do whatever I can to capture the water lilies, which were in full bloom for the first time while I was there.
These crazy looking seed pods are from the achiote tree and are prized for their use as an scarlet dye and for a flavoring agent. Here you'll see a lot of sauces and such flavored with it!
Stay tuned I've got lots more to share. Thanks for the love and support!
